Progressive metal godheads Coheed And Cambria mark the thirtieth anniversary of their formation in 2025 with their eleventh studio album The Father Of Make Believe, the third of their Vaxis series that began in 2018. It scans as a knowing attempt to escape from their ‘sci-fi metal’ brand, but is also grandiose and extraordinarily intricate on a technical level like all of the group’s revered work.
