Twin Temple is a Los Angeles-based duo formed by married couple Alexandra and Zachary James, known for their distinctive blend of 1950s and 1960s doo-wop with overtly Satanic themes—a style they call “Satanic doo-wop.” Their music combines vintage rock 'n' roll aesthetics with provocative lyrics addressing topics like Satanism, sexuality, feminism, and individualism. Their debut album, Twin Temple (Bring You Their Signature Sound… Satanic Doo-Wop), was recorded live in mono to emulate the authentic sound of the era. In 2023, they released their second album, God Is Dead, featuring tracks like “Burn Your Bible” and “Be a Slut (Do What You Want),” which continue their exploration of transgressive themes.
